You know there are times when I question people. Case in point the exterminator once told my mother that the reason mice and ants would come into her room was due to all the bottles of 7 Up she had there. I find that rather questionable since they were coming and going well before my mother put her bottles of 7 Up in her room. Another and more current Case in point is my mother was told that she needed to remove all the clothes from under her bed to deal with the current bed bug problem we have. I find that rather questionable since my mother has no clothes under her bed. Now my mother has some trash under her bed that needs to be dealt with though. Now the exterminators are nice ladies for the most part but some of the stuff they tell my mother as you can see is questionable. It's like they are going by an old textbook on how bugs and mice work without considering things might have changed since then.

It is even more off-putting that my mother and I have to piece together what we need to do to deal with these bed bugs from the housing authority. One would think that exterminators would give more detailed info on how to deal with things like bed bugs with something other than “Everything has to go”. The problem with that is we don't have the money to just throw everything away. After all beds, meds, and at least one change of clothes cost more than the $37 we have in the bank. I guess that's why it's so easy for people to tell others to just get rid of what they have since they don't see what others are going through on any level. I guess this is just another “it is what it is” kind of thing along with the “everyone needs to make that money” that follows.
